To set up an initial consultation, call to speak to one of our experienced front office staff members.Be sure to have your insurance card in hand before placing the call. We strongly advise new patients who are billing through insurance to call their insurance carrier and clarify their benefits prior to starting treatment to avoid unexpected financial hardship. We kindly ask for a 24-hour cancellation notice. Please complete all the forms sent to you and bring them to your appointment along with patient(s) insurance card, photo ID of patient/parent/guardian, and a method for co-payment. If unable, please arrive 1 hour before your appointment to fill them out. It is helpful in advance to have your past medical and psychiatric history including hospitalizations and past medications. We accept all major credit/debit cards and cash payment. Lastly, bring an open heart and mind! While we will help you develop goals for your treatment, we encourage you to also think about what your personal treatment goals are.

We do not currently have counselors on-site. Should you need a referral, we have a wide network of local therapists and aim to match you according to your need.

Most initial appointments are 1-2 hours depending on the severity and complexity of the case.

Because psychiatrists are trained medical doctors, they can prescribe medications, and they spend much of their time with patients on medication management as a course of treatment. Psychologists focus extensively on psychotherapy and treating emotional and mental suffering in patients with behavioral intervention.
